About Me
Henrikke Sande Boger is a Norwegian dancer, filmmaker, and educator working at the intersection of movement and the capture of dance on film.
She holds an MFA in Dance and Technology from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she developed her practice as a cinematographer and director of dance for camera.
Much of her performance work sits at the intersection of movement and technology, a thread that runs from her graduate training to her work as a dance filmmaker today.
Her debut film, Røtter, was spotlighted by NYU Tisch and screened at festivals across four continents, winning awards at Short Film Factory and the Greensboro Dance Film Festival.
Since 2020, Henrikke has taught dance filmmaking in higher education in Norway, introducing it as a dedicated subject at the University of Stavanger. Her teaching draws directly from her practice: hands-on, camera-in-hand, with a focus on what it means to film a moving body with intention.
She is the founder of Cineography Co., an online education platform for dancers who want to film their own work.
